The initiative is the continuation and development of a completed project (TOM-TOM) financed by the Region of Lazio that has allowed the constitution of a small team of volunteers that started a process of relationship with some boys in their way out from criminal processes and of connection with the services available in the territory.
The current project aims at continuing the fruitful activity under the perspective of enlarging the team of volunteers for the realization of support, accompaniment and solidarity paths addressed to young people involved in criminal and judicial experiences, both in the stages of insertion and integration with the psycho-social-educational supervision of experts.

The project intends to define together with the volunteers, the young people and other involved workers, tools and a replicable model aimed at connecting the criminal paths and the socio-economic contexts for the fulfillment of significant individual projects and in order to foster the re-appropriation of an active and aware citizenship dimension.
Specific objectives
Socio/educational/relationship-wise (volunteers/young people): establish a socio-educational relationship useful and functioning for the fulfillment of processes of reconnection with different life contexts, aimed at supporting the definition of a significant project for the boy.
Relationship-context (young people/volunteers/context): foster and facilitate the mediation between the boy and the contexts in which the fulfillment of the own project, aspirations and needs is possible.
Identification of the needs and tools: analyze, through consultations in structures and services, the needs and define the tools and models useful for the relationship between young people and contexts which are out of the juvenile justice system.
The implemented approach is based on a human rights centered methodology. Particular attention will be paid to transcultural issues due to the cultural diversity of the working reality and the personal stories of the young people will be highly valued as a key element of expression of identity and of participation in the process.
