Objectives
The CFJ-EN will aim to:
- empower children to have their rights respected in judicial proceedings and collect in a participatory manner their voices and make them heard through the setting up of a Child Advisory Board and the organisation of the Child Justice Caravan.
- improve the knowledge and the capacity of European legal and non-legal practitioners and of the CFJEN’s members on the EU acquis related to children’s rights, children’s access to justice, especially, CFJ procedures and procedural rights of suspected and accused children and child victims’ rights through an annual seminar, a European webinar and the creation of specific capacity building tools and exchanges on CFJ in order to have an impact on the concrete and effective adaptation of national justice systems to the CFJ principles;
- strengthen its impact by engaging in partnerships with relevant actors and reaching out to possible new members through exchanges, meetings and partnership agreements.
